These guys really amaze me
These guys are doing things with bicycles we never even dreamt possible.
Kids today have a lot to be proud of. They really are better educated and able to do hundreds of things we could never compete with. They have my respect.
It's just the ER. It's not like anything crippling is likely to happen. They're young. They'll heal. But they'll always remember being able to ride on one tire backward, or bunny hop across 6 bike stands.
Wow.
The hours it took to acquire those skills is just totally impressive. I could never even ride a wheelie.
College dropout, 4 years in the army, 10 as a diesel mechanic, going on 20 in programming. I've been a nose-down programmer, a release engineer, and now maintain Microsoft and Java web servers.
I make sure the code works its way through to market. Hence, codepoke.

Respect--okay. But that is not the first thing that comes to mind--I am such a mom...
We didn't have pads and stuff we knew pain. ;-} I'm a mom too. I was thinking- How many trips to the ER?
It's cool.

Says a dad. Mom's are so different.
Too cool! I couldn't do a wheelie when I was a kid.
