Come Unto Me

In this Christmas season~

what do you celebrate?

In the birth of Christ~

does your heart relate?

The Son of God~

does He shine through?

Is He the saving grace~

that is living in you?

Or is there something lacking~

and you keep looking for more?

The cross of Christ~

has opened a door.

He was born to earth~

not of natural seed,

but to open the door,

for humanity.

Do you banish God's riches~

by the hindrance of pride?

Refusing to believe~

that He can fill you inside.

Or do you know Christ Jesus~

does your heart want to sing?

Are you humbled with praises~

Is your heart a fresh spring?

If you know Him, give thinks,

for sending His Son

for the Union with Him

that has made you One.

But if you don't know Him~

and your heart is in despair,

His arms are open wide~

to embrace you with care.

"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son,

That whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life."

John 3:16
