Nadal blows through Ljubicic. Ljubicic is good, but Nadal is a clay court monster.
Federer has a harder time with Nalbandian. He actually has a losing record against Nalbandian, so this is no stretch. But I have to believe that he is able to master himself and make it through to Sunday.

So the real question is: where will you be having your strawberries on Sunday morning? at home or at church?
;-)
They start play here in just a little while, so I am going to ignore comments on this thread until I have seen the matches. They are showing them tonight, and I hope to avoid seeing the outcome before I see them played.
Leave spoiler comments at will!
That post sounded a little bit like LOTR...is a Ljubicic one of those things that look a little like a...
(never mind ;-)
There you go getting me all interested in tennis again. ;-}
Phew!
My coworkers all knew how it ended, and they kept NOT dropping hints how it ended. They made me NERVOUS.
Again, I must say that I cannot bet on anything. Even with nothing riding on this, I was nervous during the whole match, even with Nadal blowing through Ljubicic, and Federer having trouble with Nalbandian, but getting through.
Fun stuff.
And Ellen, a Ljubicic would be one of the really big guys that throws spears like toothpicks.
Milly, you know you love it. ;-)
I do love it. I'm not sure if it's because of the root beer floats after playing or the fact that they can do what I can't in an amazing way. You'd have to teach me if you were here. I think my daughter would be good at it. She loves sports.
I will say my heart quickened today when after the match they showed The Stanley Cup Finials commercial.
I bet the root beer floats after the hockey are not quite as satisfying. ;-)
